Are you our new colleague? Job opening for a research assistant at the Lodz University of Technology (Poland)

Jul 27, 2023 | News

Available position: Assistant, Research Staff for the research project “Sustainability and Procurement (SAP) tools for circular textiles” at the Lodz University of Technology

There is a very limited number of analyses that would look into the specific industries when analysing challenges for SPP. This is especially true in the case of the textile and clothing industry, one of the most polluting and resource-damaging industries in the world. The candidate will conduct interdisciplinary research into the SPP tools that will enhance sustainability and Circular Economy principles more effectively in the textile and clothing industry contributing to achieving especially SDGs 9 & 12.

This research project aims to develop a theoretical model based on societal and individual needs and desires for textiles. This approach will give new insights and perspectives on how and which tools are necessary in order to make the Public Procurement of textile become more sustainable. This will require methodological triangulation by using research methods from different disciplines (law, economics and business, sociology and environmental studies).
