Małgorzata Koszewska

Małgorzata Koszewska works as Associate Professor at the Department of Production Management and Logistics, Faculty of Management and Production Engineering at the Lodz University of Technology. She is the leader of the International  Sustainability & Circularity  Research Team. Since 2020, she has been  Deputy Dean for Development.

Małgorzata received her PhD from the Faculty of Textiles Engineering and Marketing, at the Lodz University of Technology. Since then her research interests have concentrated on sustainability aspects in the textile and clothing market. Her works contributed to the understanding of consumer behaviour towards sustainable textile and clothing products. Based on those works in 2017 she got a post-doctoral degree in economy (commodity sciences) at the Poznan University of Economics and Business. She was the coordinator and executor of projects in the field of market analyses, sustainable development and consumer behaviour with a special emphasis on the textile and clothing market and is the author of many papers in this field.

SAPIENS PROJECT ROLE

Malgorzata is a member of the steering committee. She acts as Ethics, Open Science and Equal Opportunities Champion, supervises ESR 14, co-supervises ESR 5, and leads the Advance Training Course: Sustainability in the Supply Chain.

In 2017, she was a member of the Working Group on Circular Business Models established by the Polish Ministry of Investment and Development working on the project of Polish road map for transformation to circular economy model. She is also a member of the Main Board of the Polish Society of Commodity Science and an expert at Polish Circular Hotspot.
