SAP and Third Generation Free Trade Agreements

ESR 1

Free Trade Agreements – FTAs are becoming a new instrument to promote sustainability, in line with SDG12. The project will investigate the procurement chapters of third-generation FTAs as new instruments to further sustainability in procurement in their economic and political contexts. This will include comparative law research into the impact of FTA procurement chapters on national legislation and on their implementation in practice to increase the understanding of FTAs as instruments for promoting sustainability in procurement and inform their development in the future.

ESR 1 is supervised by professor Martin Trybus and co-supervised by professor Roberto Caranta.
