Anna Adamik

Anna Adamik is an Associate Professor of Management at the Faculty of Management and Production Engineering at Lodz University of Technology. She is in charge of the Chair of the Management Board of Studies: Management and Management Engineering, Member of Board of  Discipline “Management and Quality Sciences”, Dean’s Proxy for Student Internships and “Diamentowa Praktyka” Student Internship Program Coordinator.

She defended her doctoral dissertation in 2002 and habilitation in 2016 at the Faculty of Management at the University of Lodz. She is an academic teacher, a published researcher,  a strategic management writer, the Head of Lab “Organisational Problems in the Age of Industry 4.0” (OPI 4.0 Research Group). Anna has authored articles in more than 130 peer-reviewed journals, conference publications and chapters in several textbooks on management, strategic management, organisation sciences, organisation development and competitiveness, especially in the age of Industry 4.0.

Anna has also explored such topics as companies’ competitive advantage creating, companies partnership and cooperation, organisation’s positive potential, corporate social responsibility, companies problems and challenges in the age of Industry 4.0.  She has presented her research at more than 90 various national and international scientific conferences.

To help students of management, she published with her colleagues some handbooks on Management:

  • Fundamentals of management
  • Organisation Sciences. Dynamic approach.
  • Management of SME’s
  • Cooperation of SMEs in the region. Building of competitiveness of companies and regions.

Anna is also a member of a few scientific societies e.g. EBES, PTE, SOOIPP.
