Toward Sustainable Organisations – A Holistic Perspective on Implementation Efforts

Jun 2, 2022 | News, Publications, Research

Our Lead Researcher Rodrigo Lozano (Professor of Organisational Sustainability at the University of Gävle, Sweden) recently published a book entitled ‘Toward Sustainable Organisations, A Holistic Perspective on Implementation Efforts’.

This book is pioneering the topic of how organisations contribute to sustainability. The organisations are presented from a plural perspective: civil society, corporations and public organizations are considered. Sustainability is also presented from a four-dimensions perpective: economic, environmental, social and temporal.

This book discusses the definitions of organisations and sustainability, the systemic elements of organisations, the main tools, initiatives and approaches (TIAs) for organisationsal contribution to sustainability, the contribution of civil society organisations to sustainability, as well as the role of public organisations in sustainability.
