Developing SAP Solutions at the Global Level

Developing the SAP best practices at the global level is crucial, particularly in emerging countries, in order to achieve the SDGs. Case studies will help create a theoretical model shedding light on the impact of various parameters for optimal SAP of the supply chain. Analysis of the economic, social, and green impact of global suppliers and the relationship between national buyers and global and local suppliers with a specific focus on the form of collaboration between buyers to solicit sustainable practices. How can a consortium of global buyers collaborate to improve the sustainability level of their suppliers? Why is it necessary for international buyers to transfer sustainable capabilities to their suppliers to reduce the sustainability risk?
ESR 2 is supervised by associate and executive professor Andrea Appolloni and co-supervised by professor Tünde Tátrai and professor Gustavo Piga.

Learn More About Valentina Bianchini
Valentina Bianchini is an international public management advisor with field-based experience in low, middle, and high-income countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, South-East Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North-Africa region. She has worked for international organizations and assisted public administrations in the fields of public procurement, anti-corruption, public sector reform, and organizational change management.
Her passion is to support the public sector in identifying and implementing solutions to global challenges, such as climate change, inequality, and corruption.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Bologna and a master’s degree in Development Economics from the University of Rome La Sapienza.
