SAP and Circular Economy

ESR 3

This project will analyse national strategies and identify best practices to implement Circular Economy in public procurement. It will conduct comparative and interdisciplinary research into the various techniques to promote, facilitate and implement Circular Economy in the procurement cycle, namely reduce, reuse, recycle and recover.

ESR 3 is supervised by associate and executive professor Steven Van Garsse and co-supervised by associate and executive professor Andrea Appolloni.

Learn More About Aura Iurascu

Aura Iurascu graduated in Law at the University of Turin (Italy) with a final dissertation on comparative profiles of green public procurement. Her big enthusiasm in the field of public procurement and environmental law brought her to work as a trainee lawyer.

She will do research on Circular Procurement within the University of Hasselt and she is fully committed to leave a mark enhancing sustainability.
