Mario Comba

Mario Comba is a professor of public comparative law at the Law School, University of Torino, where he holds a course on comparative law of economics and is also teaching at the UN ITC-ILO Master Courses on sustainable procurements.

His recent publications are about the implementation of EU procurement directives in Member States, on procurements for innovation, and on centralized procurements. He is now editing a book on central purchasing bodies in EU Member States, together with Carina Risvig Hamer (University of Copenhagen).

Besides his academic experience, Mario is also practising as a lawyer and chairs the central purchasing body of Regione Piemonte (SCR Piemonte S.p.A.), operating mainly in centralized health procurements.
